View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-seop] Woori Financial Group announced on the 13th that the Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation provided scholarships totaling 830 million KRW to 600 children of multicultural families and children of small business owners affected by COVID-19.
The scholarship award ceremony held yesterday at Woori Financial Group headquarters in Jung-gu, Seoul, was attended by Son Tae-seung, Chairman of Woori Financial Group and Chairman of the Woori Multicultural Scholarship Foundation, along with 36 student representatives and a total of about 80 people. The selected scholarship recipients include 500 children from multicultural families representing 29 countries and 100 children of small business owners who closed their businesses due to COVID-19.
