[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Marvel's movie 'Thor: Love and Thunder' has surpassed $300 million (approximately 390 billion KRW) in global revenue.
According to Box Office Mojo on the 12th, 'Thor: Love and Thunder' (directed by Taika Waititi) earned $300 million worldwide in its opening week, with South Korea being the country generating the highest revenue outside of North America.
Previously, Marvel's 'Black Panther' (2018), 'Black Widow', and 'Eternals' (2021) also ranked first in box office revenue outside North America in South Korea, while 'Avengers: Infinity War' (2018) and 'Avengers: Endgame' (2019) surpassed 10 million viewers domestically, gaining immense popularity.
