View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Jun-kyung] Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 8th that it conducted training on high school curriculum organization and operation for 200 vice principals and curriculum officers of general high schools at Shinan Beach Hotel.
According to the Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education, the 2023 academic year marks the first time general high schools organize a 192-credit system curriculum to gradually implement the high school credit system.
Accordingly, the Office of Education has been conducting training for general high school curriculum officers in three sessions since April to support the stable operation of the 192-credit system curriculum.
The third training session reviewed the draft three-year high school curriculum organization plan for incoming students next year, prepared through the first and second sessions, using the Curriculum Check Helper program, and held group consultations to find the best plan suitable for each school.
Going forward, each school will analyze its current status and curriculum operation conditions, and finalize the three-year high school curriculum organization plan for 2023 incoming students through consensus and deliberation with the educational community.
In addition, in preparation for the partial introduction in 2023 according to the phased implementation plan of the high school credit system, related guidelines will be revised, and a field support team for the high school credit system will be operated to strengthen the capacity of individual schools in managing the credit system.
