Haksu Lee, Jeongeup Mayor, Visits Major Local Institutions and Organizations

[Jeongeup=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Jaegil] Lee Hak-su, mayor of Jeongeup, visited major local institutions and organizations over two days from the 4th to the 5th, encouraging officials and taking time to communicate with them.

According to the city on the 6th, through the institutional visit meetings, Mayor Lee aimed not only to understand the circumstances of each institution and organization but also to listen to the various local issues, both big and small, and find solutions together.

On the 4th, Mayor Lee first visited the Jeongeup Branch of Jeonju District Court, Jeongeup City Election Commission, Jeongeup Fire Station, Jeongeup Station, and the Southwest Jeonbuk Chamber of Commerce and Industry in sequence.

On the 5th, he visited eight locations including NH Nonghyup Central Association, the Post Office, Jeongeup Tax Office, Jeongeup Police Station, and the Jeongeup branch of the National Pension Service, listening to the current issues of each institution and requesting close communication and cooperation for regional development.

He also discussed cooperation plans for smooth city administration, including explaining the direction of the 8th elected term's city administration activities.

Mayor Lee Hak-su said, “To realize the fundamental principle of the 8th elected term Jeongeup city administration, ‘Citizen-centered, Leading Jeongeup,’ I will listen more carefully to the opinions of each institution and organization and carry out administration that citizens can feel and empathize with.”

He added, “Since cooperation among institutions and organizations is important for a better life for citizens, I ask for joint efforts to create a happy Jeongeup centered on citizens based on mutual organic cooperation.”

Meanwhile, starting from this day, Mayor Lee plans to continue his communication efforts by visiting major media outlets in the province.
