Police Request Arrest Warrant on Murder Charges
A female public official in her 50s, grade 6, who was on her way to work, was stabbed to death by a weapon wielded by a colleague.

[Asia Economy Reporter Yoon Seul-gi] A female public official in her 50s, ranked level 6, was stabbed to death by a colleague wielding a weapon while commuting to work.
According to Andong City and Andong Police Station, at around 8:56 a.m. on the 5th, a city hall employee found Ms. A, a female public official in her 50s, collapsed on the 2nd floor of the parking tower at Andong City Hall located in Myeongnyun-dong, Andong-si, Gyeongbuk, and reported it to the police.
Ms. A was found in cardiac arrest and was immediately transported to the hospital by the 119 rescue team, but she died at around 9:50 a.m., about an hour after the incident was reported.
It is known that Ms. A suffered a severe abdominal injury from the weapon. The suspect was identified as Mr. B, a man in his 40s working at an affiliated organization of the city hall.
Mr. B surrendered himself to the police station immediately after the crime, and the police have secured the weapon used in the crime and are investigating the motive. While Mr. B admitted to the crime, he has not disclosed the motive.
