Imsil-gun, Popularity of SNS Support Event in the 8th Elected Term

[Imsil=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Nosik] Imsil-gun, Jeonbuk, is receiving a positive response to its SNS cheering event for the 8th term of the local government.

The county announced on the 5th that it is conducting an SNS cheering event to wish for the success of the 8th term, which will be led for the third time by County Governor Shim Min, and to ask for strength and encouragement.

In line with the launch of the 8th term, the county posted a message titled "Please cheer for the 8th term of Imsil-gun" on Facebook, Instagram, and KakaoTalk to receive online cheering messages.

As of the 5th, four days after the event started, the number of views has exceeded 2,200, and more than 200 comments have been posted, showing a hot response.

This event, which runs until the 15th, carries the meaning that Imsil-gun and County Governor Shim Min, who have entered the 8th term, will listen to the opinions of the residents, communicate together, and create a changing and innovative Imsil.

Those who wish to participate in the event can access the county office’s Facebook, Instagram, and KakaoTalk and write a cheering message in the comments on the event post.

Among the participants, 200 people will be selected by lottery to receive a prize of the "Imsil Aram Plum Extract and Charm Collagen Set," a self-branded product developed and sold directly by Imsil-gun.

Instead of heavy and rigid policy promotions, the county has been receiving great responses by serializing "Small but Big Steps Stories," which share rural stories and warm local news, and "Vivid Imsil News," which delivers lively news from Imsil, through Facebook and other platforms.

The number of friends receiving news via Facebook reaches about 13,000, and Instagram followers also number around 3,000.

The newly launched KakaoTalk channel this year is gaining popularity by quickly delivering county administration news that helps residents’ daily lives.

Starting in the second half of the year, the county plans to newly serialize content titled "Imsil Taste Pride, Style Pride," introducing Imsil’s restaurants and travel destinations together with the Imsil Supporters Informers, raising great expectations.

County Governor Shim Min said, "With the precious cheering messages posted through SNS, we will successfully lead the county administration of the 8th term," and added, "We will continue to strengthen SNS promotion and strive to expand two-way communication channels."
