The Seodaemun Police Station in Seoul is investigating male medical student A (21) from Yonsei University on charges of violating the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes (filming using a camera, etc.) after apprehending him in the act.
A is accused of entering the women's restroom in front of the Yonsei University Medical Library at around 6:50 p.m. on the 4th and secretly filming a female student in the adjacent stall illegally.
The police responded to a report from the victim and urgently arrested A, who was hiding in the restroom, in the act.
During the police investigation, A reportedly denied the charges, claiming that he "entered by mistake."
