Duracell has launched lithium coin battery products with non-toxic bitter coating and child-proof packaging to reduce the risk of children swallowing coin batteries at home. Lotte Mart began selling these products for children's safety starting in May last year, becoming the first large-scale retailer to do so.
This month, Lotte Mart will carry out online and offline campaigns to raise awareness of the dangers of children swallowing batteries and promote the safe use of batteries, along with various promotions. Additionally, until the 27th, Lotte Mart is offering a 30% discount on three types of lithium coin batteries with bitter coating and some Duracell products to prevent swallowing accidents. Members who join the free membership service "Uri Ai M Club" through Lotte Mart's offline exclusive application "Lotte Mart Go" will receive an additional 20% discount on the promotional products.
