Yoon: "Ensure thorough measures to prevent secondary damage from typhoon and additional rainfall"
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] President Yoon Seok-yeol, who returned home on the 1st after concluding the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) summit held in Madrid, Spain, instructed to prevent damage caused by the monsoon and typhoons.
The presidential office announced through a press release in the afternoon that President Yoon immediately checked the damage and recovery status from the monsoon through Minister of the Interior and Safety Lee Sang-min, who came to greet him at the airport.
President Yoon urged, "Please make every effort to ensure that secondary damage such as landslides does not occur due to typhoons or additional rainfall in the future."

Earlier, around 11:30 a.m. on the same day, President Yoon arrived at Seoul Airport in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province, and greeted Lee Jun-seok, leader of the People Power Party, Kim Sung-han, director of the National Security Office, Minister Lee, and others who came to welcome him after disembarking from Air Force One.
