By the following day, the northern parts of Chungnam and Chungbuk are expected to receive 50 to 150mm of rain (with some areas in the Seoul metropolitan area and inland mountainous areas of Gangwon receiving over 250mm), the southern parts of Chungnam, central and southern Chungbuk, and northern inland Gyeongbuk are expected to receive 30 to 80mm, and the northern east coast of Gangwon, northwestern Jeonbuk, and mountainous areas of Jeju Island are expected to receive 10 to 60mm of rain.
From the night of the 29th through the 30th, Seoul, Incheon, Gyeonggi, and northern Chungcheong areas are expected to experience very heavy rain at a rate of 30 to 50mm per hour. Facility management and safety precautions should be taken to prevent damage.
The morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between 22 and 27 degrees Celsius, and the daytime highs between 25 and 34 degrees Celsius.
In the Gyeongbuk area and Jeju Island, where heatwave warnings have been issued, the highest perceived temperatures will rise above 33 degrees Celsius, making it very hot in some places. In the southern regions, daytime temperatures will rise significantly, and heatwave warnings may be expanded.
