This program was prepared to promote the mental health of elderly people whose bodies and minds have been exhausted due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. It will begin on June 28 and will be held every Tuesday, hosting 20 elderly participants over six sessions.
Kang Geumnam, chairman of the Bukhu-myeon Community Security Council, said, “We hope that this program will help heal the bodies and minds of elderly people who have suffered from loneliness and fear for a long time due to COVID-19, even if only a little.”

The “Together We Gather Happiness Fund” project is a joint fundraising effort by the Andong City Community Security Council and the Gyeongbuk Social Welfare Community Chest. Currently, the designated donation fund for Bukhu-myeon consists of 65 accounts totaling 8,286,000 KRW, which is fully allocated to Bukhu-myeon and is being used valuably for various specialized projects and emergency relief expenses.
