President Yoon's Wife Kim Keon-hee Evaluation: Negative 56.3%, Positive 36.6%
'Negative Evaluation' Across All Age Groups Except Those Over 60
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] A public opinion poll released on the 29th showed that more than half of respondents have a negative evaluation of Kim Geon-hee, the wife of President Yoon Seok-yeol.
In a survey conducted by the polling specialist Data Research on the 29th at the request of Cookie News (sample error 95%, margin of error ± 3.1%p), 56.3% of respondents said Kim Geon-hee is "not doing well." Among them, 41.4% said "doing very poorly," and 14.9% said "somewhat poorly."
On the other hand, 36.6% responded that she is "doing well" (13.3% "doing very well," 23.3% "somewhat well"). The percentage of respondents who answered "don't know" was 7.1%.
By age group, negative evaluations were higher than positive evaluations in all age groups except those aged 60 and over. The highest negative evaluation was among people in their 30s (67.1%), while the highest positive evaluation was among those aged 60 and over (52.5%).
Overall, 49.3% of respondents said Kim Geon-hee's role should be reduced, while 24.7% said it should be expanded.
