IBK Securities Sponsors Small Business Products to Sarangui Yeolmae
Joint Sponsorship by Purchasing Goods from SMEs Traded by IBK Investment & Securities
[Asia Economy Reporter Hwang Yoon-joo] IBK Investment & Securities announced on the 29th that it donated goods worth 30 million KRW to the Community Chest of Korea (Sarangui Yeolmae).
This donation added a meaning of mutual growth as IBK Investment & Securities purchased products from small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) it deals with and jointly supported vulnerable groups facing economic difficulties.
IBK Investment & Securities purchased shampoo from Sehwa P&C Co., Ltd., which it underwrote for listing, and tablet PCs from its client company Etnus Co., Ltd. These items will be delivered through Sarangui Yeolmae to social welfare facilities in Gangseo-gu and Yangcheon-gu, Seoul, and other places in need of assistance.
Moon Chan-geol, Head of Management Division at IBK Investment & Securities, said, "We aim to deliver a message of mutual growth and hope to economically disadvantaged neighbors by cooperating with the SMEs we work with," adding, "We will continue various activities such as monthly ESG campaigns to practice ESG management."
