2nd Term No Ok-hee, Ulsan Superintendent of Education, Launches Ulsan Innovation Future Education Promotion Committee
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Ulsan Innovation Future Education Promotion Committee (Promotion Committee) will begin its activities starting with an appointment ceremony on the 29th, in line with the launch of the second term under Superintendent No Ok-hee of the Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education.
The Promotion Committee is composed of a total of 15 members, including policy experts, university professors, and civic groups, with Professor Jeong Jong-won of Ulsan University serving as the chairman.
The Promotion Committee will reassess the overall direction of Ulsan education policy and, following the superintendent’s commitment to realizing “future-responsible education that creates a new standard,” will conduct subcommittee operations, field visits, and listen to the work of project departments to explore the development direction of Ulsan education.
The Promotion Committee plans to maintain an organic cooperative system with the pledge task team and pledge support team, which are composed of the education office organization, to systematize pledges and establish detailed implementation plans. The committee’s activity period is from the 29th until July 29.
Chairman Jeong Jong-won said, “While maintaining Superintendent No Ok-hee’s educational policy direction and continuity, we will present a vision for Ulsan education that includes change and innovation, and take a key role in establishing feasible pledge implementation plans that reflect the opinions of citizens and school sites.”
