According to the Dongbu Police Station in Busan on the 26th, around 2 a.m. that day, Mr. A (male) forced the taxi driver out of the vehicle on the road near Pier 5 in Jwacheon-dong, Dong-gu, Busan, assaulted him, and then drove off with the taxi.
The taxi driver was seriously injured and transported to a hospital for treatment.
It is reported that Mr. A took a taxi in Gwang-an-dong, Suyeong-gu, and suddenly verbally abused and assaulted the driver before fleeing with the vehicle.
After receiving the victim’s report, detectives from the Dongbu Police Station conducted a search and found the vehicle in Choryang-dong. Around 7:50 a.m., Mr. A was urgently arrested near a residential area close to where the vehicle was found.
