View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Sacheon City Public Health Center in Gyeongnam held the second-year interim report meeting of the "In-depth Survey and Preventive Management Intervention Study for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Behavior Improvement in Sacheon-si, Gyeongsangnam-do" on the 22nd at Yonghyeon-myeon Administrative Welfare Center.
This is the first nationwide policy research project linked to the existing hypertension and diabetes registration management project targeting the 3050 generation's chronic diseases, emphasizing the importance of governance.
The installation of two Smart Health Zones, selection of pilot medical institutions for the intervention program, platform establishment, and introduction of ICT-based home kit equipment were cited as the second-year interim achievements in preparation for the intervention program implementation.
Currently, the Smart Health Zones are installed at the Sacheon City Workers' Comprehensive Welfare Center and Sacheon City Comprehensive Social Welfare Center.
About 20 people, including Acting Mayor of Sacheon City Hong Min-hee, Mayor-elect Park Dong-sik, operation committee members, external experts, and related personnel from cooperating institutions, attended the report meeting to discuss the progress of the second-year project and community cooperation for chronic disease management.
