Muan-gun Deploys Public Buses No. 50 and 55 to Hoesan Baengnyeonji
Extended Operation to Baekryeonji 17 Times a Day Starting July 1
[Muan=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Oh Hwan-joo] Muan County, Jeollanam-do, will extend the public buses No. 50 and 55, which connect Oryong~Namak~Samhyang~Illo, to Hoisan Baengnyeonji starting from the 1st of next month.
This extension will meet the tourism demand following the resumption of daily life and provide transportation convenience to tourists and users who had experienced inconvenience due to the low frequency of bus services to Hoisan Baengnyeonji, a representative tourist destination in Muan.
The extended route covers 4.4 km from Illo Hanaro Mart~Wolam 4-ri~Pyeongjeong Village~Yeonhwa-dong~Farm~Baekho-dong~Dodeokji~Hoisan Baengnyeonji, where the bus will turn back.
According to this measure, the Hoisan Baengnyeonji section will have 17 extended runs daily from 8:00 AM to 6:40 PM.
However, during winter from November to February, buses will not operate at the last bus times of No. 55 and 50, which are 6:10 PM and 6:40 PM, respectively.
The operating hours have been adjusted due to this extension, and detailed information can be found on the county website.
County Governor Kim San said, “With the extension to Hoisan Baengnyeonji, local residents and tourists will be able to enjoy the lotus flowers more conveniently,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to provide transportation convenience through various policies.”
