According to Auction, from April 18 to the 20th of this month, sales of team ball sport products such as tennis, soccer, and baseball increased up to 8 times compared to the same period last year.
Sales of tennis equipment increased by 210%. Among these, sales of tennis rackets rose about 8 times (693%), tennis apparel by 207%, tennis shoes by 182%, tennis balls by 25%, and tennis bags by 24%, all showing upward trends. Soccer equipment sales increased by 65%, and baseball equipment such as baseballs rose by 45%, showing overall increased demand.
Demand for yoga and home training, which gained popularity after COVID-19, slightly decreased. During the same period, yoga and Pilates products decreased by 15%, and health equipment such as dumbbells and weights saw a 21% drop in sales.
