View original image[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation announced on the 21st that it is receiving new industry ideas based on the technologies owned by the Mint through the Patent Office's 'Public Institution Idea Contest.'
Anyone can submit proposals through the Patent Office's idea trading platform, 'Idea-ro.' After accessing the Idea-ro site, click on the 'Today's Challenge' menu, search for 'Korea Minting and Security Printing Corporation' as a keyword, and register ideas on the contest page.
Idea submissions are accepted until the 8th of next month, and ideas that result in transactions will be selected as new business tasks by the Mint and will be promoted for actual commercialization.
Selected idea proposers will receive a reward of up to 5 million KRW. In addition to the reward, outstanding idea proposers will be awarded the Mint CEO Special Prize, the Patent Office, and the Korea Invention Promotion Association Director's Awards. The awards ceremony is scheduled to be held at the end of this year.
