Koscom Announces Recruitment of Companies for 'Financial Cloud Support Project'... Until the 30th of This Month
Recruitment Until the End of This Month... Cloud Usage Vouchers and Security Consulting Support
[Asia Economy Reporter Myunghwan Lee] Koscom announced on the 21st that it is recruiting companies to participate in the financial cloud support project.
The financial cloud support project is a program under the Financial Services Commission's 'Fintech Scale-up Promotion Strategy for Accelerating Financial Innovation' that supports fintech companies in safely providing services using the cloud. Koscom stated that over the past two years, about 100 fintech companies have used financial cloud services through this program.
The recruitment period is from June 1 to 30, and the number of companies to be selected is 60. Selected companies can receive cloud usage vouchers worth up to 96 million KRW annually. Support for existing system migration and consulting in security areas are also available.
Koscom plans to hold briefing sessions for interested companies at WeWork Yeouido in Seoul on the 27th of this month, and at WeWork BIFC in Busan on the 28th.
Kim Seonghwan, Head of Koscom's Digital Business Division, said, "Through this support project, fintech companies will have a great opportunity to reduce annual system costs and use a stable financial cloud."

Meanwhile, Koscom was selected as the '2022 Financial Cloud Support Project Operator' by the Korea Fintech Support Center last month, continuing the financial cloud support project for the third consecutive year.
