60-Year-Old Man Arrested for Attempted Murder of Acquaintance Over Perceived Neglect...
[Asia Economy Reporter Gong Byung-sun] A man in his 60s was arrested by the police for attempting to murder an acquaintance, reportedly because he felt disrespected by him.
According to the police on the 21st, the Dongdaemun Police Station in Seoul urgently arrested a man in his 60s, identified as Mr. A, on suspicion of attempted murder the previous day.
At around 11:35 PM the previous day, Mr. A stabbed a man in his 50s, Mr. B, who was an acquaintance, with a weapon at a game center located in Jegi-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul. It is known that the crime was committed following an argument over Mr. A feeling disrespected by Mr. B.
A witness at the scene reportedly called 119, stating that someone had been stabbed during a fight. Based on the witness's statement, the police conducted a search and found Mr. A about 200 meters away from the scene on the street, where he was apprehended.
