At the Emergency Response Committee meeting that day, Chairman Woo said, "An Emergency Economic Ministers' Meeting was held without the president or the prime minister. It was only called an emergency, but it did not feel like one. The president is idle, while only the economic ministers gathered to devise measures, and ultimately, the only announcement was about the reduction of the oil tax."
