Ministry of SMEs and Startups and Korea SMEs and Startups Agency Recruit 300 Export DoDream Companies
Discovering Small Businesses with High Export Potential and Providing Support in Collaboration with Related Organizations
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Ministry of SMEs and Startups (hereinafter referred to as the Ministry, Minister Lee Young) and the Small and Medium Business Corporation (hereinafter referred to as SBC, Chairman Kim Hak-do) announced on the 20th that they are recruiting companies to participate in the '2022 Export Do Dream Company Designation Project' to support the export promotion of small business owners.
The Export Do Dream Company Designation Project is a program in which the Ministry and SBC collaborate with related organizations such as the Small Enterprise and Market Service (hereinafter referred to as SEMS) and the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency (hereinafter referred to as KOTRA) to discover promising small business exporters and provide linked support through various policy projects such as export, finance, and consulting. It was first launched last year to nurture small business owners with high future export potential into export companies, selecting a total of 321 companies.
The Ministry and SBC are recruiting companies to participate in the project until the 24th of this month, planning to select about 300 small business owners this year. If designated as an Export Do Dream Company, they will receive preferential benefits when applying for government support projects such as ▲ SBC export vouchers, support for entry into overseas online shopping malls, and other export support projects ▲ SEMS innovative small business funds ▲ KOTRA one-on-one consulting with export experts, buyer discovery using overseas trade centers, and other export capacity enhancement programs ▲ regional credit guarantee foundations’ guarantees for promising small business exporters.
