Moon Jae-in Administration Information Disclosure Lawsuit Full Investigation Launched... Will Kim Jung-sook's Clothing Expenses and Blue House Special Activity Funds Be Revealed?
[Asia Economy Reporter Baek Kyunghwan] The Presidential Office is reportedly conducting a comprehensive investigation into the 'status of information disclosure lawsuits' during the Moon Jae-in administration. Following the recent withdrawal of an appeal and disclosure of related information regarding the 'West Sea Civil Servant Killing Incident,' there is a high possibility of further information disclosure on additional matters.
On the 19th, according to the Presidential Office and others, the office has begun a full assessment of information disclosure lawsuits filed against the Blue House during the previous administration.
Earlier, President Yoon Suk-yeol promised during his presidential campaign to actively and transparently disclose government-held information to the public. Last week, in the information disclosure lawsuit filed by the bereaved family of the West Sea civil servant killing incident, the appeal was withdrawn and the Coast Guard's investigation materials from that time were disclosed, reflecting the same intent. Accordingly, the Presidential Office is expected to make decisions contrary to the previous administration regarding cases where it has continued lawsuits as the defendant in information disclosure lawsuits.
