According to the Daegu Meteorological Office on the 19th, the daytime temperature in Daegu reached 34.2 degrees Celsius, the hottest in the country. Pohang and Gyeongju also recorded high temperatures of 34.1 and 34 degrees Celsius, respectively. Most areas, including Gumi (32.4 degrees), Yeongju (31.8 degrees), and Yeongdeok (31.5 degrees), exceeded 30 degrees, but Uljin was relatively cool at 28.7 degrees.
