Gangnam-gu, 'Safe Jeonse and Monthly Rent Contract Assistance Service' for Single-Person Households
Ansim Manager Provides Customized Consultation for Single-Person Households Struggling to Find Housing, Accompanies Residential Area Exploration and On-Site Visits
[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jung Soon-gyun) will provide the ‘Jeon-Wolse Safe Contract Assistance Service’ for single-person households in the area from the 22nd until the end of November.
Gangnam-gu, equipped with jobs, commercial facilities, and high-level transportation and cultural infrastructure, has about 90,000 single-person households, accounting for 40% of all households. Half of these are young adults in their 20s and 30s who are vulnerable to real estate fraud.
The Jeon-Wolse Safe Contract Assistance Service promoted by Gangnam-gu is a project where certified real estate agents appointed as Safe Managers by the district office provide customized consultations, housing searches, and on-site accompaniment services free of charge for single-person household tenants who are inexperienced in real estate contracts.
Safe Managers were appointed on the 16th upon recommendation from the Gangnam-gu branch of the Korea Association of Realtors and are stationed at the Gangnam-gu Single-Person Household Community Center.
In consultation with the Gangnam-gu branch of the Korea Association of Realtors, the district office decided that for single-person households applying for the service who enter into Jeon-Wolse contracts with a converted deposit of 100 million won or less, the brokerage fee paid by the tenant will be reduced by 50% as a talent donation from the real estate agents.

The support targets single-person households residing or planning to reside in Gangnam-gu. Residents wishing to receive assistance can apply through the Gangnam-gu Single-Person Household Community Center website, by phone, or at the Gangnam-gu Real Estate Information Division.
