20s Male Caught Filming Hidden Camera of University Junior Found with Another Video on Phone
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] The police have launched an investigation after another victim's video was found on the mobile phone of a man caught illegally filming a university junior.
The Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul announced on the 17th that they have booked and are investigating a man in his 20s, Mr. A, on charges including violation of the Special Act on the Punishment of Sexual Crimes.
Mr. A is accused of molesting and illegally filming a drunken female junior at a motel in Yeongdeungpo-gu around 12:30 a.m. on the 13th.
The victim, realizing the crime, sought help from the motel staff and reported it to the police, who confiscated Mr. A's mobile phone upon arrival.
The police confirmed that Mr. A deleted photos of the victim and also discovered videos of another woman's body.

The police plan to conduct a digital forensic examination of Mr. A's mobile phone and will investigate the possibility of video distribution once the forensic results are available.
