Venture Capital Association Selects 7 Companies for 1st Cohort of Hi+Tech Program... Offering Various Benefits
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] The Korea Venture Capital Association announced on the 16th that it has selected seven small and venture companies to participate in the 'Hi+Tech Program 1st Cohort.'
The Hi+Tech Program, held for the first time this year, is a customized intensive accelerating program conducted for institutions in charge of the Small and Medium Business Technology Innovation Development Project.
Through linked programs with Kingo Invest and KOTRA, it provides various benefits such as investment attraction, overseas expansion, and marketing.
The final selected companies are a total of seven: △Green Bio △NowiNS △Riu △Vascular Interface △Sicudaim △Yeonhap System △Intermedi.
Among them, four companies are local businesses located in Gwangju, Gimhae in Gyeongnam, and Muan in Jeonnam, and this program is expected to contribute to revitalizing local investment attraction.
Kim Hyung-young, the full-time vice chairman of the Venture Capital Association, said, "We will provide wholehearted cooperation and support so that all companies in the Hi+Tech 1st Cohort can scale up quickly."

The association plans to create opportunities for investment attraction through the final demo day in September. For companies selected as excellent, it plans to support promotional video production, publication in the association's webzine, and overseas expansion support.
