Point Mobile Signs 15 Billion KRW Supply Contract for Automotive Certification Diagnostic Equipment
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Point Mobile, a company specializing in industrial mobile devices, announced on the 14th that it has signed a supply contract for automotive certification diagnostic equipment (Z7 Terminal) with EZDS, a leading domestic automotive scanner equipment company.
The product that Point Mobile will develop and supply to EZDS this time is a 10.1-inch enterprise tablet PC. It is a product recognized for Point Mobile’s years of product development, quality control, and mass production capabilities, and will be exclusively supplied to EZDS under an Original Design Manufacturer (ODM) production method. Development will begin this month, with mass production and delivery starting in March 2023.
Through this supply contract with EZDS, Point Mobile has agreed to supply at least 40,000 units over the next four years. EZDS plans to distribute all products supplied by Point Mobile to the global automotive diagnostic market through its existing global supply chain.
Meanwhile, Point Mobile plans to fully enter the enterprise tablet PC market, expanding its business as a global supplier by developing and supplying various products. Additionally, it plans to further expand its business by developing industrial tablets, which Amazon has been steadily requesting.

Since its establishment in 2006, Point Mobile has supplied products to major overseas clients such as Honeywell in the U.S. and Casio in Japan through Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and ODM.
