Sandangong Hosts the 6th G-Valley Startup Competition
For Prospective and Early-Stage Entrepreneurs
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Seoul Regional Headquarters of the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation (Chairman Kim Jeong-hwan) announced on the 10th that it will hold the '2022 6th G-Valley Startup Competition.'
Hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and organized by the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation, Seoul Metropolitan Government, Guro-gu, Geumcheon-gu, Seoul Business Agency, and the Korea Industrial Complex Managers Association Seoul, the 'G-Valley Startup Competition' has been held annually since 2017, centered on the Seoul Digital Industrial Complex (G-Valley).
Eligibility is limited to prospective entrepreneurs or entrepreneurs within three years of establishment, and applications can be submitted through the website from today until the 4th of next month. The competition proceeds over approximately four months through the stages of first document screening, first accelerating, second presentation screening, second accelerating, and finally the third demo day and awards ceremony.
Winning teams will receive eight certificates in the names of the heads of the hosting and organizing institutions, including the Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Award, the Seoul Metropolitan Government Mayor Award, and the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation Chairman Award, along with prize money totaling 37 million KRW.
