[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Park Gang-su, the elected mayor of Mapo District, held the '8th Civilian Term Mayor-Elect Work Report Meeting' on the 9th, ahead of the official launch of the transition committee.
The report meeting was held at 4 p.m. on the same day at the transition committee office on the first floor of Mapo Central Library, chaired by Mayor-elect Park Gang-su, with heads of relevant departments attending. It will proceed with each department reporting on major projects for 2022 by the 10th.
Mayor-elect Park said, "Today's work report is the first step as a mayor who is a steward responsible for the lives of 400,000 Mapo residents, not a politician working for votes," and added, "I ask for your support and cooperation so that in four years, we can become a better Mapo and a better mayor, earning the proud title of a 'successful mayor.'"
