Secretary General Park Chanjin (at the level of State Councilor) is from Buk-gu, Gwangju, and holds a master's degree in Public Administration from Chonnam National University.
He has held key positions in the Election Commission, including Manager of the Management Division at the Gwangju City Election Commission, Secretary General of the Chungcheongbuk-do Election Commission, Director of the Investigation Bureau, Director of the Election Policy Office, and Deputy Secretary General at the National Election Commission.
