Cafe24 Opens Online Store 'JYP Shop'... "Easily Purchase Artist Merchandise"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Global e-commerce platform Cafe24 announced on the 8th that JYP Three Sixty, the intellectual property business subsidiary of JYP Entertainment, has launched the official online store ‘JYP Shop’.
This online store is JYP’s first direct-to-consumer (D2C) mall. Until now, JYP has sold artist-related products through some open markets, but it was created to expand connections with fans from various countries where the popularity of Hallyu entertainment is high.
Cafe24 supported the establishment of online shopping malls in four languages: Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese, as well as customized shopping environments by country. It is also notable that familiar overseas payment systems such as PayPal, Alipay, UnionPay, and international credit cards were applied for fans from different countries. When global consumers select artists they support, such as TWICE and Stray Kids, they are provided with personalized services that allow them to see the artist’s products and content first.
Cafe24 plans to support optimized services such as global logistics and delivery, overseas translation, and customer service (CS) so that JYP can grow its global e-commerce business and provide the best shopping environment to Hallyu fans.
