The contest is organized by the Dongseo University SW-Centered University Project Group and sponsored by the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Institute for Information & Communications Technology Planning & Evaluation, and Busan City.
The contest was held to spread awareness of AI and AI software by sharing various ideas about the future society transformed by artificial intelligence and AI technologies. This year, the scale of awards, including total prize money and the number of winning works, has been further expanded.
The university stated, “Through the contest, we expect to present images of future society with creative content that dynamically expresses new technologies such as AI and SW, demonstrating that artificial intelligence is becoming generalized and universalized in the lives of the public.”
The contest themes are to choose between ‘My AI (Artificial Intelligence) Usage Story’ and ‘Life in 2030 Brought by AI (Artificial Intelligence),’ and the work format can be selected from video, poster, or webtoon.
The contest is open to anyone residing in Korea, either individually or as a team, and is divided into a student division for elementary, middle, and high school students, and a general division for university students and the general public.
Professor Lee Sanggeol, Director of the SW Value Expansion Center, said, “We hope the contest will spread understanding of AI, and we will continue to operate educational programs to promote the value of AI and SW.”
The submission period for the contest is until July 10, and more detailed information can be found on the contest website.
