Damyang-gun Operates Free Home Collection Service for Discarded Electronic Appliances
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] On the 7th, Damyang-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it has started free home visit collection of waste home appliances that have been left and stored at home for a long time due to difficulties in disposal methods.
The free home visit collection project for waste home appliances was initiated to establish a foundation for promoting the transition to a resource-circulating society, a national agenda, by expanding recycling and resolving public inconvenience.
When disposing of waste home appliances, if you make a disposal reservation through an online or call center pre-reservation system, the collection and transportation task force (Ministry of Environment Korea Electronics Products Resource Circulation Cooperative) will visit and collect on the designated date.
The collected items include medium and large electronic products such as refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners, TVs, and microwave ovens. Waste furniture, electric heating pads, medical devices, and fixed installed products cannot be collected if not removed.
