View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The New Industry Specialized Project Group at Gyeongnam Information University conducted an on-site tour for 30 students from the semiconductor, electronics, and mechanical departments to the Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology (DGIST) and the semiconductor company JMJECO.
The on-site tour, conducted as part of the New Industry Specialization Project, aimed to enhance understanding of the semiconductor industry field through direct and indirect experience.
The students experienced various semiconductor research facilities, process equipment, and process technologies at the DGIST Semiconductor Device Cleanroom.
During the visit to JMJECO, they attended a special lecture by CEO Choi Yoon-hwa on ‘Future-type Power Semiconductor Package Technology’ and toured the company’s facilities and semiconductor product manufacturing equipment to experience the semiconductor industry field firsthand.
