Mokwon University High School 'Stock Simulation Investment' Competition

View original image[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Mokwon University is recruiting participants for a stock simulation investment competition for high school students nationwide.
The Department of Financial Economics at Mokwon University announced on the 2nd that it is recruiting participants for the "2022 Nationwide High School Student Simulation Investment and Investment Report Competition" until the 7th of this month.
The competition is designed as an opportunity for high school students to experience virtual investment by accessing the cyber trading system of a securities company and engaging in real-time stock trading situations in the stock market.
The university plans to enable participating high school students to enhance their financial knowledge and experience proper financial investment education through the competition.
The competition evaluation will be based on the final rate of return (100 points) from simulation investments conducted by participants accessing the Kiwoom Securities simulation investment system from the 6th of this month to the 3rd of next month, along with an investment strategy report (100 points).
Applications can be made individually or as a team. The individual or team that ranks first in the evaluation will receive the Mokwon University President's Award and prizes worth 500,000 KRW; two second-place winners (two teams) will receive the Dean of the College of Social Sciences Award and prizes worth 200,000 KRW; and five third-place winners (five teams) will receive the Head of the Department of Financial Economics Award and prizes worth 100,000 KRW, respectively.
