Hope Work Support Project Brings Hope to Residents Affected by Wildfires
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Gwiyeol] Uljin-gun, Gyeongbuk, is recruiting participants for the '2022 Hope Work Support Project' until the 9th to support residents who lost their livelihoods due to the Uljin wildfire last March and to restore wildfire damage.
This year's Hope Work Support Project will select a total of 100 participants and deploy them from July to November for five months to handle debris from wildfire-damaged houses, remove damaged trees around villages, collect forest combustibles near rivers, and improve the environment of wildfire-affected villages.
The recruitment target is those aged 18 or older with work ability as of the project start date, including wildfire disaster victims in special disaster areas, household members of disaster victims, and wildfire-affected residents who need livelihood support due to the regional economic downturn.
Residents wishing to participate can apply by visiting the industry team at their local eup/myeon office. For more details, refer to the notices/announcements on the Uljin-gun Office website or contact the Job Support Team in the Job Economy Division.
