Lotte Mart Launches Pre-Order Sales for 18L Large-Capacity Cooking Oil
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Yuri] Lotte Mart announced on the 31st that it will conduct pre-orders to sell 18ℓ large-capacity cooking oil for 69,900 KRW from the 1st to the 15th of next month.
Recently, due to international restrictions on oil exports and the Ukraine-Russia war, the domestic cooking oil market has been facing a continuous supply shortage. Following Indonesia's announcement to halt palm oil exports, concerns over supply shortages have led to a movement, resulting in Lotte Mart's cooking oil sales volume increasing by about 50% from April 23 to May 23 compared to the previous year.
Accordingly, Lotte Mart secured 1,000 units of 18ℓ large-capacity cooking oil, which was operated under food ingredient specifications, through consultations with Lotte Food to supply cooking oil at a reasonable price. This product can be purchased up to two units per person by paying and reserving at the store's 'We Will Help You' center from the 1st to the 15th of next month, and customers can pick up the product at the reserved store for 10 days starting June 20.
