KOTRA Operates Integrated Korea Pavilion at World's Largest 'Hannover Messe' Industrial Fair
[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-ho Kim] KOTRA announced that it will operate the integrated Korea Pavilion at the "Hannover Messe," the largest industrial innovation exhibition held in Hannover, Germany, from the 30th (local time) to the 2nd of next month. At this exhibition, held offline for the first time in two years, our small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized companies will showcase innovative technologies.
The integrated Korea Pavilion consists of a total of 29 participating companies and will conduct joint promotional activities targeting overseas buyers and investors. Including individually participating companies, a total of 51 companies from Korea will participate in this exhibition.
Celebrating its 75th anniversary this year, the Hannover Messe will present sustainable value creation through eco-friendly and digitalized production processes under the theme of "Industrial Transformation." As the exhibition resumes offline after two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many major companies from key industrial sectors will participate, demonstrating industrial innovation that goes beyond Industry 4.0 to address climate change.
Above all, attention is focused on how to realize carbon neutrality, which has emerged as a global issue. Approximately 2,500 companies from nine sectors including industrial automation, energy solutions, digital economy, and logistics will participate, with Portugal joining as a partner country pavilion.
