20s Man Arrested for Running a Red Light and Crashing into a Police Car

The Gwangju Bukbu Police Station announced on the 26th that they have detained and are investigating a man in his 20s, Mr. A, on charges of obstructing official duties.
Mr. A is accused of running a red light and ramming a police car on a street in Imdong, Buk-gu, around 1 a.m. that day.
The police, who were patrolling the area, witnessed a 1-ton truck running a red light and requested that the driver pull over to the shoulder, but Mr. A fled.
The police immediately pursued Mr. A, during which he rammed the police car.
As a result of the accident, a police officer who was chasing at the time sustained minor injuries and is currently receiving treatment.
It was also revealed that Mr. A refused the police's breathalyzer test three times.
