VT GMP Participates in Japan Rakuten Girls Award
[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Hyowon] VT GMP's cosmetic division, VT Cosmetic, announced on the 26th that it participated in the 'Rakuten Girls Award' held at the Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in Tokyo, Japan.
The Rakuten Girls Award held this time is a megaton-level fashion, music, and beauty event comparable to the Tokyo Girls Award. After a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19, the event featured famous models, artists, and influencers active in Japan.
VT Cosmetic operated a game center-themed booth within the award venue. Various events were held, including a UFO catcher (claw machine) and shooting game, where participants could win various prizes.
A VT Cosmetic representative said, "The booth concept was derived from our recently expanded slogan in the Japanese market, 'Good skin today when together,' and was planned under the theme 'A special day today with VT' to match the event concept. The number of booth visitors and game participants far exceeded expectations, leading to early depletion of prizes."
At this award, VT Cosmetic unveiled the 'Kemio Edition,' a collaboration with Japan's famous influencer 'Kemio' and VT Cosmetic's Cica line, for the first time. Kemio is a well-known YouTuber and influencer popular among Japan's MZ generation, currently boasting 2.01 million YouTube subscribers.
The Kemio Edition revealed at the Girls Award consists of basic cosmetics from VT Cosmetic's representative Cica line, including daily soothing masks, toner pads, and Cica eye cream. Photocards of Kemio will be given as gifts, and the products will be sold on Japanese online platforms such as Rakuten and Qoo10.
