This event was organized to provide emotional stability support and a stepping stone for daily recovery to low-income residents through cultural experiences.
The residents who participated in the outing visited Dong-gu Humanities School and the Bium Museum in sequence, enjoying a pleasant time while listening to the guide's explanations and savoring cultural benefits they had been unable to enjoy due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
An elderly participant said, “Because of COVID-19, I had not dared to experience cultural activities, but it was nice to go outside after a long time, see good things, and have an enjoyable time.”
Chairman Lee Gijong said, “It was regrettable that we could not conduct cultural experience activities for low-income groups for over two years due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. Going forward, we will carefully look after not only material support but also the emotional stability of residents to practice neighborly love.”
