[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] Immersive art exhibition specialist company Timonet announced on the 25th that it will open the NFT artwork gallery edition (A.dition) at the ‘Light Lounge’ cafe along with the opening of the ‘Light Theater’ exhibition hall at Walkerhill Hotel on the 27th.
The digital art specialized gallery ‘A.dition,’ located in Walkerhill Hotel’s ‘Light Lounge,’ will hold its opening exhibition titled 'Computing Beauty_chapter 1' from the 27th to November 27th. The exhibition will be held in two parts. By combining visual arts with NFTs, it aims to showcase new artistic techniques for the next generation and plans to continuously organize domestic and international exhibitions, building each exhibition as one edition.
Park Jin-woo, CEO and organizer of the exhibition, said, "We want to increase accessibility to the gallery centered on visitors and break down the barriers of art that have felt difficult, providing an opportunity to freely and comfortably appreciate domestic and international digital art," adding, "In the future, through the NFT platform, we aim to present a new collector paradigm by making it easy to purchase and enjoy digital artworks."
The opening exhibition 'Computing Beauty_chapter 1' introduces 14 works by 12 internationally renowned digital artists. The exhibition is curated by Dominique Moulon, a digital art specialist curator based in France, and features works that have not been previously introduced in Korea, including famous artists making their debut in the country.
