For single mothers, practical logistics training that can be immediately applied in logistics companies is provided, and after completing the designated training, employment will be arranged at logistics companies to help them achieve a stable life.
In May, four single mothers are scheduled to participate in practical logistics training organized by the Korea International Logistics Association.
Youths leaving welfare facilities and single fathers receive forklift and excavator training that can be utilized at port sites to help them obtain certifications. Last year, six people obtained certifications, and in June and July, seven people are scheduled to participate in a vocational training program hosted by the Incheon Port Training Institute.
All training costs are supported by Busan Port Authority, and the authority plans to actively arrange jobs with logistics companies for participants who complete the designated training.
