The Gwangju Gwangsan Police Station announced on the 25th that they have arrested and are investigating two teenage students on suspicion of attempted special theft after they tried to steal valuables from parked vehicles late at night.
They are accused of opening the doors of parked vehicles and attempting to steal valuables on a road in Wolgok-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City at around 2:47 a.m. that day.
According to the investigation, one of them was keeping watch while riding an electric kickboard, and the other broke into the vehicle to steal valuables, indicating that they planned the crime by dividing roles in advance.
It is known that the CCTV integrated control center observed their actions and reported them to the police.
