The training session is held with the purpose of establishing cooperative relationships between customs authorities specialized by region through the activation of human exchanges.
In particular, this month's training session is significant in that high-ranking customs officials from Central Asian countries rich in energy and natural resources gather to strengthen customs clearance cooperation amid the escalating global supply chain crisis.
The training session will be attended by 14 people including Akmalkhuja Mavlonov, Chairman of the Customs Committee of Uzbekistan; Khurshed Karimzoda, Commissioner of the Customs Service of Tajikistan; Kairat Jumagulov, Deputy Head of Customs of Kazakhstan; as well as officials from Mongolia, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia, and senior officials from the Asian Development Bank.
During their visit to Korea, the attendees will tour production sites such as Hyundai Motor Company's Asan plant and have time to listen to the voices from domestic companies on site.
