Fostering Residents to Efficiently Utilize Regional Resources in the Jirisan Area
[Gurye=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yuk Miseok] On the 24th, Gurye-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it is recruiting students for wildflower lifestyle horticulture education to cultivate residents who can practice horticultural techniques centered on native plants in daily life and utilize local resources.
The number of students is 20, and any resident registered in Gurye can apply.
Applications are accepted until the 7th of next month, and theoretical and practical education will be conducted at the Gurye-gun Agricultural Technology Center.
From June 10 to October 14, every Friday for 14 sessions, education will be promoted to enhance overall understanding of wildflowers, starting from sowing native plants and cuttings to garden cultivation.
All courses will be conducted with practical training alongside theoretical education.

An official from the county said, "We hope that residents who have had a hard time due to COVID-19 will relieve their fatigue through the education course and grow into experts in utilizing wildflowers suitable for the Wildflower Ecological Special Zone Gurye."
