The Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (KOSHA) and the Local Public Enterprise Evaluation Institute signed a "Business Agreement for the Establishment of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act and Safety and Health Management System in Local Public Institutions" on the 23rd at the Ulsan headquarters of KOSHA.
According to the agreement, KOSHA and the Evaluation Institute will jointly work to establish the Serious Accidents Punishment Act in local public institutions and strengthen safety and health capabilities.
KOSHA will provide consulting related to the Serious Accidents Punishment Act to the Evaluation Institute and support education instructors for the implementation of the Act in local public institutions.
The Evaluation Institute plans to incorporate the contents of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act into the evaluation criteria for local public institutions and organize specialized training courses aimed at reducing industrial accidents.
The Evaluation Institute is currently operating a small-scale practical course on the Serious Accidents Punishment Act and plans to expand education to approximately 1,400 local public institutions nationwide in the future.
Through this agreement, early establishment of the safety and health management system will be promoted, awareness of industrial safety and health in local public institutions will be raised, and support for specialization and advancement will be provided.
