[Asia Economy Reporter Yu Je-hoon] KB Kookmin Bank announced on the 23rd that it has opened its second digital partnership branch, 'KB Digital Bank Bunpyeong-dong Branch,' in collaboration with Emart24.
The KB Digital Bank Bunpyeong-dong Branch is located at Emart24 Bunpyeong-dong Branch in Cheongju, Chungbuk, and has installed advanced digital devices such as a video consultation-only counter and STM to enhance financial convenience for local residents. It is the second digital partnership branch following the NB Gangnam Terminal Branch opened on the 2nd at the Express Bus Terminal Station in Seocho-gu, Seoul.
Services available at the KB Digital Bank Bunpyeong-dong Branch through STM include ▲passbook issuance ▲cash and check deposit/withdrawal ▲issuance of check cards and security media (security cards, card-type OTP). STM operating hours are from 9 AM to 7 PM (until 6 PM on holidays and weekends), allowing use even on holidays, thus alleviating inconvenience for customers who find it difficult to visit the bank on weekdays.
Additionally, at the KB video consultation-only counter, customers can receive face-to-face level services such as ▲opening deposit/withdrawal passbooks ▲new savings and installment savings accounts ▲internet banking registration and cancellation ▲credit loans. The KB video consultation-only counter operates from 9 AM to 5 PM on weekdays and is available even after the branch closing time of 4 PM.
Meanwhile, KB Kookmin Bank and Emart24 are holding an event for visitors to celebrate the opening of KB Digital Bank until the 31st. Customers who pay 10,000 KRW or more with a KB Kookmin Card at Emart24 Bunpyeong-dong Branch will receive a 50% discount of up to 10,000 KRW.
